Christmas Party for Foster Children

Hello all and Happy Holidays to everyone.  Last Friday, we were fortunate enough to participate in a Christmas event sponsored by the Hamilton Elks and the Hamilton Education Association. The event was for helping families who are raising foster children enjoy the holiday. Letts Party was hired to make a free-standing, 7ft. tall snowman with a face cut-out for photo opportunities, 20 Christmas candy centerpieces, and to do a bit of decorating. This is what we came up with.....Hope you enjoy!

7 ft. snowman with face cutout

This 7ft. snowman was made from an 8ft. x 4ft. x 2" piece of foam (bought at Lowe's). It was painted with acrylic paints, glitter was added to the scarf and the hat, and a red-glitter bow was added to add that extra bit of cheer.

Christmas Candy Centerpieces

These center pieces were a hit.  They were simple to make and really added something to the event. The kids really loved it.
